About the Program

The Infant/Toddler Lab School at CSUSB offers a developmentally appropriate learning environment for children age six weeks to three years. The program operates in two classrooms, one for infants age six weeks to 17 months, and the other for toddlers age 18 to 36 months. Housed in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Building, the Center provides a full developmental program planned and implemented by educated teachers and staff.

The Infant/Toddler Lab School's philosophy and practices are based on the most current and credible research in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. The Center is nondiscriminatory and accords equal treatment and access to services without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, or disability.

The Infant/Toddler Lab School is one of several components under the umbrella of the Institute for Child Development and Family Relations and is directed by Dr. Amanda Wilcox-Herzog of CSUSB's Psychology Department and supervised by Genevieve Nystrom.
